Fall 2026 registration officially closed on June 21, 2026. Families may still register online to be added to the waitlist.

Because regular Fall registration has closed, any family still interested in AYSO Region 154 soccer should complete the online registration process. Your player will be added to the waitlist for their chosen division and considered if space becomes available.

Does waitlist mean guaranteed?

No. Placement depends on roster space, coach availability, division balance, and team formation needs.

How to Register for the Waitlist

Parents should use the same online registration system. If a division is full or registration has closed, the player may be placed on the waitlist for that chosen division.

Dates & Fees

Fall 2026 Regular Registration: April 4, 2026 – June 21, 2026
Current Status: Waitlist registration is now available for families still interested in playing.

Cypress Residents $150*

Or students currently attending a school within Cypress city limits.

Non-Residents $170*

Players living outside of Cypress.

Fee Note: Fees may include the AYSO National non-refundable player fee of $25 and Sports Connect non-refundable transaction fees. Please follow the payment or waitlist instructions shown during checkout in Sports Connect.

Registration / Waitlist Steps

  1. Click the Register / Join the Waitlist button to access the AYSO / Sports Connect registration system.
  2. Log in or create a family account using a valid parent or guardian email address. Returning families should use the same account information when possible.
  3. Add or select your player from your household account. Please make sure the player's first name, last name, and date of birth are entered correctly.
  4. Choose the Fall 2026 program option available for your player. The system will place your player in the appropriate division based on age.
  5. Complete all required forms. Be sure to e-sign, submit, review for accuracy, and submit again if prompted.
  6. Upload required documents such as birth certificate and current player photo if requested by the system.
  7. Watch your email for waitlist updates. Communication may come from AYSO Region 154, Sports Connect, or your division contact.

Is Fall 2026 registration still open?

Regular Fall 2026 registration has closed. However, families may still complete the online registration process to join the waitlist.

What happens after I join the waitlist?

Your player's information is added to the waitlist for the selected division. If space becomes available, AYSO Region 154 or the appropriate division contact may reach out with next steps.

Does joining the waitlist guarantee a spot on a team?

No. Joining the waitlist helps the region track interested players, but placement depends on available roster space, coach availability, division balance, and team formation needs.

Should I still join the waitlist if my division is full?

Yes. Joining the waitlist is the best way to let the region know your player is interested if space becomes available.

How will I know if my child gets a spot?

Please monitor the email address used during registration. Updates may come from the region, Sports Connect, or your division contact.

Can my child play in a younger division?

No. Players may not play down into a younger division.

Can my child play up into an older division?

Play-up requests are limited and require regional approval. Families should register based on the division assigned by age.

Programs At-A-Glance

AYSO Region 154 offers several soccer programs. Availability may vary by age division, roster space, and volunteer support.

AYSO Core

Our standard recreational soccer program for children. Practices begin in August, and games run from September through November/December.

AYSO Playground

A soccer-themed group adventure program for young players where parents/guardians and players explore fundamental motor skills together.

AYSO EPIC

A dedicated program for children and adults with physical and/or intellectual disabilities. Features weekly practices and Saturday games.

AYSO EXTRA™

AYSO's advanced play program offering a higher level of competition. Try-out required and players are rostered by invitation only.

Practice Schedule Note: Practice schedules are determined by the volunteer Head Coach and Regional Scheduler.

What Equipment Does My Player Need?

  • Shin Guards: Mandatory during all practices and games. Socks must completely cover the shin guards.
  • Footwear: Full-coverage shoes are required. Soccer cleats are highly recommended. Baseball/football cleats with a single front cleat are not permitted.
  • Practice Ball: Recommended so your player can practice at home. Size 3 for U5-U8, Size 4 for U10-U12, and Size 5 for U14+.
  • Provided by Region: Game-day jerseys, shorts, and socks are included in registration fees.
  • Strictly Prohibited: Bracelets, wristwatches, barrettes, necklaces, earrings, hard hair accessories, casts, or splints. No exceptions.
