Practice Sites Request

All practice field requests are due by Friday 7/19/2019. Coaches who submit their requests by 7/19/2019 will have priority.

Field Set Up/Take Down Procedures

Field Duty - 5:30-7:00pm Fridays 
(5U/6U/8U - Paint fields Friday Night, Set up Goals/Flags Saturday)


If you  are FIRST game of the day- Indicated by a Sun
(if away team is from another region, home team does all of the field set-up/take-down)

Lexington
Home Team: Paint the Field Friday evening from 5:30-7:00 pm
Away Teams: Set up the goals Friday, put on nets, place sandbags, place corner  and half-line flags, pull out trash can and place near field

Arnold
Home Team: Paint the Field Friday evening from 5:30-7:00 pm
Away Teams: Put the goals into place on Friday, check that nets are on correctly, place corner and half-line flags, pull out trash can and place near field.

King
Home Team: Paint the Field Friday evening from 5:30-7:00 pm
Away Teams: Put the goals into place on Friday, check that nets are on correctly, place corner and half-line flags, pull out trash can and place near field

Oak Knoll
Home Team: Pick up painters from Lexington, paint the field at Oak Knoll Friday evening from 5:30-7:00 pm, then return painters to Lexington. Take trash cans to field.
Away Team: Goals will already be at Oak Knoll.  Get the flags from Lexington Saturday morning and place corner and half-line flags.

Grace Christian/Cawthon - A shed is at Grace Christian to store flags, painters, sand bags and trash cans.    NETS STAY ON THE GOALS UNTIL THE END OF THE SEASON.
 
Home Team: Paint the field at Grace Christian Friday evening from 5:30-7:00 pm, then return painters to Lexington. 
Away Teams: Move out the goals from the east/south corner of the field. Check that nets are properly in place, place corner and half-line flags, pull out Trash Can place near field. Take sand bags to place on the back legs of the goals to prevent tipping.


If you are the LAST game of the day- Indicated by a Clock
(if away team is from another region, home team does all of the field set-up/take-down)

Lexington
Both teams break down goals and bring them along with nets and flags to the containers. Clean the trash around the fields.

Arnold
Both teams break move goals against fence and nets remain on the goals.  Flags are returned to the lock up containers. Clean the trash around the fields.

King
Both teams break move goals against fence and nets remain on the goals.  Flags are returned to the lock up containers. Clean the trash around the fields.

Oak Knoll
Bring back just the flags to Lexington -
Leave the Goals, Sandbags, and Nets (on the goals) there. Clean the trash around the fields. Bring back trash cans to Lexington.

Grace Christian/Cawthon A shed is placed at Grace Christian to store flags, painters, sand bags and trash cans.   NETS STAY ON THE GOALS UNTIL THE END OF THE SEASON.
Bring back the flags and sandbags to Lexington. 
Leave the goals, with nets on, but push them to the south east corner of the field (corner farthest from Denni and Myra).  Clean the trash around the fields and bring back the trash cans to Lexington.

Sideline Seating and Management

Parents sit on half of the sideline, across of the coaches/team half.

Home team sits on the west or north side of the field. Visitors will sit on the opposite side of the half line. 

Parents 'coaching' all the way down the lines, behind the goals and/or on the player's side of the field is not allowed.
Parents need to setup their chairs, tables, umbrellas, blankets, etc. at least 5 feet from the touchline.

No pets are allowed on school grounds.  Please do not bring your pet(s) to the practices or games.

Coaches need to stay within the perimeters of the center circle on their half of the field.  Approximately 8 yards on either side of the halfway line. 

ZERO TOLERANCE policy towards the youth referees.  Be nice to them, they are children.

No yelling at the referees!
